Pursuit of the Wild Muse- Radical Creativity for the Artist
For the artist, the source of creativity is the source of life. The artist inhabits a creative wilderness and a civilized megalopolis simultaneously, and frequently faces the challenge of learning to transform a spiritual gift into hard cash. Holmes shares his personal experience of working with his muse in this remarkable and dynamic workshop, leading participants through a variety of rituals, resources and methods for remaining attuned to their creative source. Using diverse materials from Jungian psychology to journaling techniques to spiritual practices, he guides participants through a series of exercises to view their own creative ecology in a new way. The workshop includes elements of group process, personal activity and private sketching, followed by discussion of the possibilities of personal revelation through interfacing with the archetypal creative wilderness.
