Sometimes I collaborate with other artists on a work they've given up on, where I take their image into my own world. This is such a painting, begun by my friend ale Livezy.  It's mostly dark but perhaps hope lies on a distant sunlit meadow, surrounded by danger; not an impossible path from here, but certainly a long slog from where we are.
