As 2020 turns into the most terrifying year of our lives, we are confronted with challenges we never imagined a year ago. It feels scary to me, but I take hope in the fact that this has all happened before and though we will be forever changed, this too will pass. This image seems less immediate and more mythic, as if a legend passed on from generations ago.
