The Handless Maiden is an old fairy tale about the power of the woman who restores her own power following a bad deal with the devil made by her father. This large, collaged, layered image, made of monotype, crayon, ribbon and bone, uses a fragment of poetry (written sideways on the orange part) from my brilliant writer sister, Krys Holmes.
